Les Johnston
Les JohnstonState Sales Manager
Les Johnston is the State Sales Manager at Hudson Civil and has driven various successful projects for Hudson Civil over his 15 years with the business, applying his broad range of field construction experience from his work on water projects, pipelines, bridges, structures, road projects and building construction.

Les has been involved in civil and Industrial sales in Tasmania for more than 30 years, and has been involved with some of the largest civil, roads, water and wastewater projects public authorities and private industry have undertaken during that time.

Highlights include all of Tasmanian Irrigation Schemes, Longford wastewater treatment plant, Brighton, Penguin, Kingston and Dilston Bypasses, major pump stations, Lilydale Pipeline, and many municipal projects such as the Formby Road redevelopment, West Tamar Plaza, and UTAS stadium upgrade.

Jason Lanham

Jason Lanham is the General Manager at Hudson Civil Products, and provides strategic management and operational leadership to the Hudson Civil Team state-wide.

With significant industry and plumbing sales management experience in Tasmania and interstate, Jason brings a wealth of experience to look for opportunities and continually improve the HCP offering for our clients and partners, with various management and leadership roles prior to joining Hudson Civil in 2015.

Jason’s original ADF experience through the RAN and with building supplies sales has provided a sound understanding of plumbing, building and construction work and supply tasks from many different perspectives. His experience in logistics, sales, administration and strategic leadership, as well as his ability to engage with industry and support our clients is invaluable to the HCP team and our partners.

Zac Bird

Zac has accumulated five years of experience in both the plumbing and civil industries, having entered this field immediately after completing his studies. Since April 2021, Zac has been a part of the Hudson Civil team. Initially, he served as the Plumbing Branch Manager, a role he has fulfilled for a period of two years.

In June 2023, he transitioned into the position of Hobart Branch Manager within Hudson Civil Products, where his responsibilities expanded to encompass broader managerial duties. Throughout my career, I have maintained a strong focus on customer satisfaction, adopting a customer-centric approach to my work. His commitment to delivering exceptional service has been a consistent thread in his professional journey.

Sean Harris
Sean HarrisNorthern & North West Sales Manager

Sean is the Northern and North West regional sales manager at Hudson Civil Products based in Launceston, Sean has being with Hudson’s for 5 years working throughout the business gaining great knowledge throughout the difference facilities in the Hudson group through sales and warehouse experience, and is known for giving 110%.

Throughout these years Sean has gained a high level of practical experience working through multiple projects such as the Legana
emergency storage tank, the new toilet block development at the bike centre in Launceston, highway works throughout the Midlands and
Bass highway and various subdivisions throughout the north of the state.

Greg Towns
Greg TownsOperations Manager (Prospect)
Greg is the Operations and Site Manager at our major Prospect manufacturing facility, and with almost 20 years experience managing precast products for Hudson Civil, Greg knows just about everything there is to know about Hudson Civil Products and how best to service the Tasmanian Civil Industry.

A logistics specialist, Greg knows how to get things done most efficiently and importantly safely, to work in closely with our clients to get their product deliver on time, in full, the way they want it, and ready to unload on site ready to use. Michael Hudson

Michael Hudson is the Managing Director and provides key strategic and technical advice on complex projects and operational matters at HCP.

Michael has driven the Hudson Civil Products company for more than 20 years, and in this time has grown the company from a small precast products manufacturing facility to an industry leader in major precast products and innovative design, and a key provider of Civil Plumbing supplies and solutions.

Michael was originally a licensed plumber, and has more than 25 years’ experience in civil construction and civil plumbing in Tasmania. He has worked on infrastructure projects throughout Tasmania including the Deloraine and Longford Water Treatment plants, Aurora Stadium, Brooks High School Construction, and the Bell Bay Alinta Power Station, among many others.

Michael Ross
Michael RossEngineering Technical Officer

Michael Ross provides key technical advice and experience on many design, drawing, custom project and operational aspects at the HCP site.

Working with Hudson Civil Products for more than ten years, Michael studied whilst working full time to gain an Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering and Drafting, and manages all of Hudson Civil Products design drawing and drafting works.

Michael also manages our large products /custom precast division, which provides complex and novel precast solutions to service the unique demands of the Tasmanian civil industry – making life easier and more efficient for our clients on site.

Andrew Howell

Andrew is the Product Engineer at Hudson Civil Products, and has been involved in the design, supervision and project management of numerous infrastructure projects across Tasmania working in the engineering and construction field, in various roles across the private and public sectors.

Andrew is a Professional Engineer with almost 20 years experience, graduating from UTas in 2001 and completing his Masters Degree at UNSW in 2003. Andrew joined Hudson Civil in 2008 after local council engineering and management roles, and has also worked as a consultant for more than five years servicing the municipal, roads, and development sectors.

His experience with a range of construction projects and understanding of various aspects of civil design and supply of engineered products, combined with his project management experience, ensures efficient and effective project delivery for our clients. He also works closely with our clients and internally on new products, innovation, and continuous improvement for the business.
